16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted short boyish hair with original flocked finish, blue glass jewel-like inset eyes, brown painted curly lashes, brown brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, original French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, finish worn on hands. Marks: SFBJ 237 Paris 6. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: well-modeled features of a handsome older boy with fine quality luminous bisque.
