Bisque socket head, dark blue glass sleep eyes that operate from lever at back of head, dark eyeliner, painted small lashes, fringed brows, rose eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over original Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body, lovely antique embroidered dress, undergarments, leather shoes, socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C. 6 (incised) Steiner SGDG J. Bourgoin (red stamp) (caduceus stamp on body) Steiner 6 Bte SGDG (eyes) 6 (pate). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful large bebe with choicest bisque, original body with original finish, signed Steiner eyes and pate.
