All-wooden doll with carved socket head, carved hair in casual comb-marked curls, well-defined ears, painted intaglio dark eyes with white eye dots, closed mouth with wide grinning expression, row of painted teeth, impressed dimples, all-wooden spring-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: very good, original finish on face and hair with slight typical wear. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17, '11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 203, from Graziano sculptures, the model was made for six months only, 1911. Value Points: rare Schoenhut model with excellent sculpting details of smiling lad, with well-defined hair.
