Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) One-piece bisque figure depicting a highly characterized girl with sculpted hair, painted large side-glancing googly eyes, all-around painted lashes with sunburst effect, tiny nose, "O"-shaped mouth, painted costume and hair, distinctive blue pebbled texture of feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schafer & Vater of Germany produced the Peek-A-Boo series of characters designed by British artist Chloe Preston, circa 1925. Value Points: rare grand size with fine detail of painting.
