Description
13" (33 cm.) Mustard golden velvet bulldog of comical design, swivel head, red felt tongue, painted facial features to depict the original illustrations including large squinting eyes and freckles, stitched brown velvet ears, plump torso, jointed curved arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Bonzo, based upon the original storybook illustrations of George Studdy, made by Chad Valley, circa 1930. Value Points: delightful rendition of the storybook dog with original leatherette collar.
