All wooden carved doll, socket head, sculpted hair in short bobbed style, the hair waved back and held by a sculpted blue hair bow, blue painted eyes with black pupils and white eye dots, tinted brows, accented nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth in smiling expression with row of beaded teeth, all-spring jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912, model 101. Value Points: rare model with wonderful smiling expression enhanced by impressed dimples and philtrum, painted teeth, and rare hair style with blue hair bow.
