14" (36 cm.) Composition socket head on wooden neck rim, painted brown hair with forelock curl, large round blue side-glancing eyes, five upper lashes, v- shaped brows, closed mouth with pouty expression, muslin torso, composition limbs, painted black boots. Condition: generally excellent.. Marks: Effanbee Skippy c. P.L. Crosby. Comments: Effanbee, circa 1935, designed by Bernard Lipfert from original cartoon series by P.L. Crosby. Value Points: original blue policeman's uniform with holster, belt, policeman's cap.
