Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed composition head, sculpted brown boyish hair with defined forelock, painted facial features, large round blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, comma-shaped brows, tiny mouth, muslin torso, composition jointed arms and legs, sculpted and painted high brown boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Effanbee, Skippy was designed by Bernard Lipfert, inspired by the Skippy comic strip character of P.L. Crosby, circa 1940. Value Points: wearing his original pilot's flying uniform of WWII era, including cap and goggles, with uniform emblem embroidered "Keep 'em Flying".
