Description
25" (64 cm.) overall with horse. 12"l. wagon 11" h. 9"w. The wooden milk wagon with openings on sides and front is painted original white with cream lid and blue lettering accented with gold and red on all sides and the roof, promoting Alderney Dairy Co. with Grade A Milk, located at 26 Bridge Street in Newark, N.J.; with orange painted undercarriage and spoked wheels and pulled by a German kidskin covered horse on wooden wheeled platform. Structurally excellent, the finish is original albeit very rubbed, horse is worn. Schoenhut, circa 1930. Included is the original Schoenhut wooden driver (facial finish worn) wearing original blue denim suit, along with a wooden crate advertising Alderney Dairy on its sides and containing twelve wooden milk bottles.
