Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair in extended loops over each ear and forming into a chignon at back of head, painted facial features, tiny eyes, closed mouth, slender kid body and wooden limbs, painted yellow flat shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: well-preserved early doll is wearing her original costume.
