9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair with very full looped curls over each ear and chignon at back of head, painted brown eyes and tinted facial features, slender kid body, wooden lower limbs, painted red flat shoes, antique costume and woven sunbonnet. Condition: generally excellent, slight rub on nose paint. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: well-preserved petite early doll with original finish, brown eyes.
