Description
18" (46 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with two beaded lower teeth, impressed cheek dimples, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent, old body retouch. Marks: 6971 7 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling enhancing the merry expression.
