6" (15 cm.) All-bisque figure of boy with painted black pate and side locks, large side-glancing painted eyes, "O"-shaped mouth, with painted Japanese costume of green kimono with obi and sandals. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, Shafer & Vater, from original designs by Chloe Preston, circa 1925. Value Points: rare character from the Peek-A-Boo series, especially difficult to find in larger size.
