17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with elongated face and throat, large brown glass inset eyes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly set lips, blonde mohair wig, muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders, hips and knees. Condition: old hairline at right shoulderplate, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: wonderful wide-eyed expression enhanced by lovely antique costume.
