Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth, pierced ears, fine original mohair wig in original coiffure over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, some frailty to costume. Comments: attributed to Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: petite poupee is wearing original blue silk gown with braid trim, undergarments, leather boots, and woven flower-trimmed bonnet.
