Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, white mohair periwig, firm torso and legs, wire upper arms and upper legs, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1875, the doll wears its original silk Marquis costume with sword and tricorn hat; when the doll is standing, and lightly pressed down, he lowers his hand, thus gallantly tipping his hat.
