18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of adult lady, oval face and elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair waved behind her pierced ears and arranged with three tiers of braids at her crown, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted detail of bodice with ruffled blouse accented with magenta ribbons, and sculpted black necklace with gold medallion, cloth stitch-jointed body with bisque lower arms and legs, painted pink ankle boots, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rarity factors include braided coronets, pierced ears, and sculpted jewelry and bodice.
