Description
4" (10 cm.) h. 4" shoulder width. Bisque shoulderhead with plump rounded face, painted blue eyes with thick dark eyeliner, black down-glancing pupils and decorative glaze just above the lower eye rim, delicately-painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line and delicately-shaded lip edges, original kidskin wig cap over cork pate. Condition: excellent, one tiny pin flake at back stringing hole. Comments: Adelaide Huret, circa 1857. Value Points: very fine modeling enhanced by superb painting of complexion and facial features.
