Description
14" (36 cm.) Each is light cream cotton finish with rabbit-shaped face and body, large shoe-button eyes, painted features, he with long floppy ears, painted teeth, and she with Charlotte cap over bald pate and smiling expression, stitch-jointing at shoulders and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Georgene Novelties, circa 1943, depicting the storybook characters Uncle Wiggily and Nurse Jane from the Howard Garis children's books. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved condition, each wearing complete original costume.
