Description
14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with modeled bosom, pale complexion, oval-shaped face with full cheeks and chin, elongated throat, light brown sculpted hair arranged away from face in horizontal rolled curls, and terminating in a double roll at the back of head, and there is a sculpted posy of white flowers at the left side of her head, blue down-glancing eyes, red and black eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils of aquiline nose and closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to A.W. Fr. Kister, circa 1890. Value Points: regal expression with finely appointed features, rare coiffure with sculpted flowers.
