8" (20 cm.) Each has composition socket head with expressive comical facial features, metal ball-bearing body, composition hands and feet with painted shoes, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Switzerland patents Applied For. Comments: Bucherer, circa 1925, from their series of Saba dolls, including Mama Katzenjammer and the Captain with black sculpted moustache, and having infinite articulation of their uniquely-designed metal bodies. Value Points: rarely found, the pair have original finish, and are wearing original costumes.
