Description
4" (10 cm.) Arranged upon the lid of a bisque wash tub with painted soap bubbles are a Peek-A-Boo girl with brown hair arranged with topknot curl, and Peek-A-Boo boy with black hair, their eyes gazing at each other. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany. Comments: Shafer & Vater, circa 1925, from original designs by British illustrator, Chloe Preston. Value Points: modeling details include little clasping hands and startled "O"-shaped mouths.
