Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathering, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 0 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1890. Value Points: lovely soft complexion, impressed dimples, original wig, pate, body, body finish, and wearing original muslin chemise dress, with silk bonnet, shoes and socks.
