From 1921-1929, the cartoonist illustrator, Paul Terry, created a series of animated silent films "Aesop's Film Fables" for RKO Pathe. The short cartoons featured amusing spoofs of the original Aesop's Fables. A series of the characters in the films were created in doll form by Miller Manufacturing, late 1920s, and are notable for variations in actual head shape as well as facial details.
