32" (81 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead with solid dome, sculpted and painted short blonde boyish hair with forelock curl, deeply-intaglio blue sculpted eyes with white eye dots, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast shaded lips, well-defined ears, kid pin-jointed body, composition and wooden ball-jointed arms.Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 14 Germany Heubach (in square) 6688. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rare large size of the wistful faced child with exemplary bisque and painting, wonderful antique black woolen costume with soutache embroidery.
