Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. 3 R. Comments: Falck-Roussel, who registered his Bebe Mignon in 1885, the bebe having a distinctive facial model, circa 1885. Value Points: examples of the bebe model are rarely found, this petite example particularly charming and presented in early wooden trunk with leather cover and fitted interior, containing three additional dresses, two bonnets, and various accessories.
