Description
10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, brown glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, original muslin body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1 950. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rarer closed mouth child doll is all original, including body and costume with elaborately beaded black velvet vest, apron, lace coiffe.
