19" (48 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French metal armature body with padded stockinette cover allowing infinite articulation, bisque hands and bisque lower legs and feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gaultier, with Gesland-made body from the original depose of Pannier, circa 1875. Value Points: an especially beautiful example with choice bisque and painting, perfect bisque limbs with exquisite sculpting of hands, lovely antique dotted Swiss gown.
