11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, brushstroked brows, blonde mohair wig in long original braids, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885, attributed to Simon and Halbig. Value Points: wide-eyed child with closed mouth, original body, elaborate original folklore costume include black lace and velvet coiffe.
