All-bisque doll with swivel head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, two square cut upper teeth, blonde hair with coiled side braids, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue socks and black one strap shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Mark: 1 (head and arms). Comments: French, circa 1890. Value Points: unusual facial expression and blue painted socks, wearing pretty dress, and holding her own two little all-bisque German dolls with sculpted hair, painted shoes and socks, and wearing original matching costumes.
