5" (13 cm.) h. desk. Of light wood with lithographed paper cover to simulate rosewood with gilt inlays, the furnishings include sofa with burgundy silk upholstery and two matching side chairs, small dressing table with marble top, small oval marble top table, washstand with lift top, and secretary-desk with drop front and fitted niches. Very good condition. Germany, Walterhausen, circa 1885.
