Description
19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brushstroked blonde boyish style hair, painted facial features, intaglio blue eyes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in downcast pouting expression, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Marks: 6 7602 Heubach (sunburst) Germany. Excellent condition, body may be one size large for head. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, the solemn faced gentleman is wearing well-detailed original ensemble including twill silk vest and long tails.
