15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: R 2/0 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1880. Value Points: an especially beautiful example of the early period Rabery & Delphieu with lovely antique dress, undergarments, elaborately woven bonnet and French kidskin shoes.
