14" (36 cm.) Platinum-blonde center-part hair with stylized chignon at each side of face accented with a cluster of lilac flowers. Wearing tagged lilac taffeta tiered gown edged in lace, with white organdy and lace bodice, puffed sleeves with lace trim, green silk sash trimmed with a corsage of lilacs matching the flowers in her hair and the corsage in her hand, cotton petticoat trimmed in lace, pantalets, ribbed stockings, black side-snap shoes with bows. Near mint condition. Alexander, 1949 from the Godey Lady series, with original clover- leaf gilt wrist tag, an especially beautiful doll with rare coiffure and flowers and subtle blushing of cheeks.
