All-composition with socket head, brown sleep eyes, lashes, dark eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, row of teeth, dimpled cheeks lending a slightly smiling expression, wheat blond human hair in perfectly-arranged side-part curls with tiny rose bud accents, five-piece composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Alexander (costume also marked Genuine "Sonja Henie" doll). Comments: Alexander, 1930s, portrait doll of the celebrity skater/film star. Value Points: rare size with exceptional quality of original painting, perfectly kept coiffure, rare boa-trimmed skating costume and laced-up skates.
