Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, brown glass paperweight inset eyes in perfect almond shape, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips and tiny stuck-out tongue tip, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Bru kid bebe body with slender torso, scalloped edge collarette, kid over wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, sculpted hands, Chevrot hinged thighs, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 6 (head and shoulderplate). Bru Bebe Bte SGDG...(original paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, Chevrot era, circa 1886. Value Points: particularly compelling expression on the beautiful classic-faced Bru with rich brown eyes, wonderful sculpting of mouth and chin, fine original body, perfect bisque hands, and wearing original Bru silk dress (some frailty) and leather shoes signed Bru Jne Paris 6.
