27" (69 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, large brown glass enamel inset eyes, thick eyeliner, dark painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with modeled space and well-defined tongue tip between the shaded lips, defined philtrum and dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette extended-length mohair, kid body with scalloped collarette and gusset-jointed legs, hinged kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, faint hairline on backside of left arm, body is excellent and very sturdy with few patches at hip joints. Marks: Bru Jne 10 (head) Bru Jne N.10 (shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884.
