14" (36 cm.) Light brown floss hair with center part and coiled curls at each side of face accented by pale blue ribbons. Wearing tagged vibrant gold apricot taffeta dress with fitted bodice trimmed with cream tatting that is repeated on the sleeves, pleated skirt ruffles, sous-sleeves, petticoat and pantalets with cut-work edging, stockings, black snap shoes with little bows, embossed brass necklace. Near mint condition. Alexander 1949, with original cloverleaf wrist tag, from the prestige Godey Series depicting fashions of the 1860 era, this doll with gorgeous complexion and coiffure, vibrant period costume.
