Description
7" (18 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head turned to the side, sculpted brown short curly hair, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs to above the knees, bare feet, original robe with gilt lace trim, attached wooden wings (6" span) with carved detail of feathers having original cream/brown/blue finish. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neapolitan, late 1700s.
