Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips and tiny stuck-out tongue tip, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Bru kid bebe body with slender torso, scalloped edge collarette, kid over wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, sculpted hands, Chevrot hinged thighs, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 7 (head and shoulderplate), (remnants of original paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, Chevrot era, circa 1886. Value Points: strikingly beautiful bebe with especially lovely painting around the eyes and lips, dimpled philtrum and chin, very sturdy body and perfect bisque hands, and wearing lovely magenta silk dress and matching bonnet which are likely original, undergarments, stockings, leather shoes with silver buckles signed "Bru Jne Paris 7".
