15" (38 cm.) doll, 17" with headdress. Amber-tinted bisque socket head, dark brown inset eyes, painted lashes, black feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1329 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 4. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: exceptional detail of original costume, featuring ivory silk tunic and pants with bordered trims, gilt buttons, embroidery, and with original matching slippers and headdress.
