Description
24" (61 cm.) x 16" case. 9" angel. A wooden framed shadowbox room with constricted and painted architectural details including fireplace and mantel, painting, wall of books, large window with silk draperies, parquet flooring, and various furnishings. In one corner is posed an angel with carved wooden wings and silk costume, and in the other is a lady seated at small table upon which are arranged various papers and songs. Excellent condition. Early 1800s, a very fine presentation of imaginative and artistic detail.
