Arranged on ebony wooden platform under a blown glass dome is a grassy mound with shrubbery and trees, along with miniature wooden articulated figures with painted hair, facial features and costumes, as though in a country setting; there are 18 various people and six animals. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1850. Value Points: charming presentation, likely specially commissioned for village celebration of the era.
