24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, large blue painted eyes, white eye dots, thick black upper eyeliner with short fringed lashes, red upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette human hair in long curls, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique burgundy twill dress with lace trim, undergarments, socks, shoes, and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Marks: K&H (in banner) 520 12. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: wonderful expression and quality of bisque on the rare character series, its rarity quite enhanced by the larger size, and with especially fine impressed dimples at cheeks and lip corners.
