8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta young lad with black complexion, black sculpted tightly-curled short hair, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted red slippers, wearing original court costume comprising silk brocade shirt with two turquoise bead accents, sash, silk pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
