Description
24" (61 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque, blonde sculpted boyish hair with forelock curl, intaglio sculpted dark blue eyes, white eye dots, black and incised eyeliner, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, center accent line on lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, retouch to hands and legs. Marks: 7602 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany 10. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very large model allowing full character expression, superb bisque and painting, wonderful antique parade costume and brass trumpet.
