Description
8" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head turned to the side, sculpted brown short curly hair, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs to above the knees, bare feet, original robe with attached wire-framed silk wings with metallic edging. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neapolitan, late 1700s.
