One-piece carved wooden head, torso and legs, designed to pose as though standing, sitting or lying down, sculpted short brown curly hair in deep waves over partially sculpted ears, brown enamel eyes, heavy eyelids, closed mouth, blue painted torso and upper arms, jointing at shoulders. Condition: very good, few craquelure lines on original finish. Comments: Germany, late 1700s. Value Points: appealing size and presence, original finish well preserved, original silk brocade costume.
