Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and short feathered brows, accented nostrils of upturned nose, closed mouth with downcast pouty lips, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nicely costumed in Sunday Best linen suit with embroidered collar and cuffs, undergarments, leather boots, cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 42. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model "Phillip" from their art character reform series. Value Points: very fine example of the sought-after doll has choicest bisque and modeling, original toddler body with original finish.
