20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown painted hair with curls around the forehead, brown glass inset eyes, painted brown lashes, incised eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with shaded lips, modeled double chin, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: SFBJ 226 Paris 8. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine modeling of features and fine lustrous complexion, antique velvet boy's costume and black velvet cap, stockings, shoes.
